Matching is the blending of all the
previous grading factors and is used to match pairs or
necklaces.
- Excellent: All pearls are uniform, and
appear to be clones of each other
- Very good: Very slight variation in
lustre, color, or blemishes. Appearance is still
very uniform
- Good: About 1/4 of the pearls show slight
variations
- Fair: About 1/3 of the pearls show noticeable
variations
- Poor: More than 1/3 of the pearls show noticeable
variations
